ADP Says U.S. Companies Employed Fewer Workers Than Forecast
According to a new survey, fewer jobs were created in April than originally forecast. The survey predicted a 119,000 job increase, below the median forecast of 150,000. Analysts say that the low numbers reflect a lack of employer confidence in the performance of the economy and the government. The Labor Department will release official figures on Friday.
