More offices offer workers alcohol
A growing number of offices are making alcohol available to employees at the workplace, particularly in tech and media companies that are stretching out the traditional nine to five workday. Company fridges are increasingly becoming stocked with full bars, with some companies even installing digitized kegs. A new take on the water cooler, firms say that the perk attracts talent and encourages inter-department interaction. Yet employment lawyers have expressed concern that employer-sanctioned drinking will foster workplace harassment and discrimination.
