Workers to protest low pay and alleged wage theft at federal buildings
The advocacy group Good Jobs Nation organized demonstrations throughout Washington D.C. on Tuesday protesting low pay and alleged wage theft for service employees of government contractors. Claiming that several franchises with locations inside the Reagan building violated minimum wage and overtime pay rules, the group filed a complaint with the Labor Department last week. Tuesday?s protests will be the third round of demonstrations for the group since May.
