This Labor Day, much of America will be? laboring
A survey conducted by Bloomberg BNA and Beyond.com found that 39 percent of employers plan to be open for business this Labor Day. The results of the survey illustrate research from the Center for Economic Policy Research, which shows that American workers receive less paid time overall than peers in developed countries. That goes double for the bottom fourth of American wage earners, 49 percent of which do not receive paid time off. Many left leaning economists believe that worker productivity is minimally effected by mandatory paid time off.
