China's college grads face a new reality: fewer jobs
While record numbers of the Chinese population are attending college, an increasing number of students are unable to find jobs after graduation. Government officials estimate that as many as 3 million graduates from this year and last are jobless. Weak economies in the U.S. and Europe have in turned slowed down the Chinese economy, which is largely dependent on trade, resulting in less available jobs. Although the country is currently pursuing a more service oriented economy, many higher-paying, management jobs have yet to emerge.
