Oshkosh Corp. union approves contract
The Oshkosh Corporation and the UAW?s 2,500 members who work at the Oshkosh, OK plant have reached an agreement to extend their contract an additional five years after it would have expired in 2016. The company looked to extend the contract because it would better be able to bid on a government contract for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), which will replace the Humvee. The union believes that it received a fair deal and that competitiveness in bidding for the JLTV will bring more and better work to the Oshkosh community.
