San Diego Cabbies Cry Foul Over Body Odor Test
Taxi drivers at San Diego International Airport must pass a checklist of 52 items before being allowed to pick up customers. One criterion on the list is a smell check that officials are responsible for conducting. With 94 percent of the cab drivers being immigrants, there are claims that this test strengthens the stereotype that foreigners smell bad.
