City School Bus Union Moves Toward Strike over Payroll Grant
Yesterday 1,8000 employees and drivers with a bus company authorized a strike. The walk-off is meant to draw attention to the fact that half of the employees do not qualify to receive a cash bonus provided by the city. The strike was authorized even after a pay-roll boost of millions was promised by New York City?s Mayor de Blasio.
