Cablevision Labor Dispute Intensifies after Divisive Poll
Cablevision announced yesterday that its technicians in Brooklyn voted to no longer be represented by the union Communication Workers of America (CWA). The cable company hired an outside firm to conduct an anonymous survey in which 93% of respondents voted to leave CWA. CWA has represented the workers with Cablevision for the past three years.
