NHS Strike: Clinics Close and Operations Cancelled in Dispute Over Pay
40,000 NHS workers went on strike for the first time in 32 years causing injured people to have to find their own way to the hospital or visit their General Practitioner as paramedics had also joined the strike. Workers are striking to have the 1% pay increase applied to all NHS staff.
