Last Wednesday, workers began a strike at a copper and zinc mine in Peru. On Saturday, a statement was released declaring an end to their strike after authorities declared the strike to be ?improper?. The workers are scheduled to return to work Monday. The striking workers were demanding better working conditions and a greater share of the profits.
