After discussions over retirement benefits broke down between Lufthansa and the pilots? union VC, an announcement was made that there would be more strikes by the pilots. Although the airline offered a 5% pay increase, the pilots are still demanding that employees of the company can retire at 55 with full benefits. Strikes are expected to happen at any time with the exception of Christmas.
