Italy Unemployment Rises to New High, Showing Europe Divergence
The Italian unemployment rate has now increased up to 13.4 percent making it a record high. In contrast, Germany?s unemployment has fallen to the lowest level seen in the past 20 years. Italy?s unemployment rate is now the highest since 1977 as the current Prime Minister continues to reform the labor market in an effort to improve economic conditions.
