U.S. Union Membership Rose 1 Percent in 2014
The National Department of Labor released statistics showing that in 2014 union membership ended at 14.6 million showing less than a 1% increase. Over the past 30 years workers with union memberships has declined from 20% of the workforce to 11.1%. Unions' largest campaign in 2014 was Fight for $15 organized by the Service Employees International Union.
