New York Wage Board Suggests $7.50 Wage for Tipped Workers
Governor Andrew Cuomo's labor commission is currently reviewing a proposal submitted by the New York Wage Board that could raise the minimum wage for tipped workers to $7.50. If approved, this wage increase would go into effect December 31st, 2015. At the end of 2014, the New York State Minimum Wage increased to $8.75.
