Toyota to Move to Merit-Based Pay for Factory Workers: Nikkei
Approximately 60% of the workforce employed by Toyota will move from a pay scale based on seniority, to merit-based pay. Employees performance will be evaluated every six months to determine their wages. Toyota will also provide more benefits to employees with children.
