New York City Reaches Labor Deal With Police Sergeants Union
On Thursday, New York City Mayer Bill de Blasio announced that the city had negotiated an agreement with 4,602 police officers. This means that four out of the five unions that represent New York police officers have reached an agreement. The only one that hasn't, Patrolmen's Benevolent Union, is demanding wage increases and better healthcare which would cost the city approximately $252.1 million.
