San Francisco Symphony Ratifies Musicians' Contract
On Monday, the musicians of the San Francisco Symphony ratified a contract that gives them the third highest base salary out of all U.S. orchestras. The new minimum base salary will be $2,892 per week and will rise to over $3,200 per week in the last year of the contract. This comes after the musicians staged a brief strike back in 2013.
