Just two days before the Major League Soccer Players were set to go on strike, the players and reached an agreement with employers on a new agreement. The negotiations, which involved the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, were resolved after a day. The potential strike would have disrupted the first games of the season that were scheduled to begin Friday.
