German Train Drivers to Start 5-Day Strike Tuesday
Yet again, employees of the train operator Deutsche Bahn will go on strike. The train drivers, who plan to strike for five days, are demanding shorter shifts and a five percent pay increase. These train drivers are represented by the union GDL, which is also trying to negotiate wages for conductors who are represented by another union.
