In three cities, Sacramento, Los Angeles and Chicago, nurses have made plans to go on strike over issues with contract negotiations. On Thursday and Friday, approximately 6,400 nurses will participate in this walk off. The reasons for the strike vary but the nurses have issues with understaffing, pay and benefits.
