Feds: 7 Ann Arbor restaurants to pay workers back wages
As part of the Labor Department?s campaign to crack down on college towns that may be taking advantage of uninformed workers, seven Ann Arbor, Michigan restaurants have to pay back $145,600 in wages. The wages were owed back to 100 different employees after the restaurants violated overtime, minimum wage, and record-keeping laws. The Department is also investigating restaurants and hotels in Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois.
