Disability discrimination on the rise in UK
New laws in the United Kingdom removed the hearing fees in employment tribunal hearings. As a result, there has been a significant rise in employment tribunal cases for disability discrimination. Cases dealing with disability discrimination saw a stark increase of 26%. Due to the high number of cases, organizations in the UK are beginning to rethink their current policies revolving around disability.
