Ageism, an Emerging Issue in the Workplace
Ageism is one of the most persistent biases in the workplace. But it is also one of the most subtle. As the US population continues to ages and over a quarter of the workforce will be over the age of 55 by 2024, tackling ageism is a critical issue that organizations must tackle. The World Health Organization has rolled out a plan to aid companies in fostering a more age inclusive environment.
