This week hundreds of Amazon employees plan to risk their jobs in a coordinated effort to publicly criticize the e-commerce giant’s dismissal of environmental issues. The effort is a response to Amazon’s threat to fire climate change activists that work for the company for violating a company policy that prohibits employees from talking negatively about the company without prior approval. This article highlights the increasing tensions between Amazon and its employees.
