Following a change in leadership Etsy, an e-commerce company for vintage and specialty items, has seen a surge in diversity. In 2019 Etsy doubled the number of black and latinx employees hired from the previous year. The surge in diversity is the result of Etsy establishing a diversity and inclusion team of 5 employees dedicated recruiting more diverse applicants.
