Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, most employees are now working remotely from the comforts of their home. However, now that employers are able to experiment with the merits of remote work, it is possible that remote work may be the future of the workplace. Sociology researchers have hypothesized that workers will be resistant towards giving up the autonomy, freedom, and flexibility of remote work.
