Leaders are under extraordinary pressure right now due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Leaders are expected to make decisions quickly with incomplete and rapidly evolving information. Leaders that are in crisis mode often resort to patterns of bias and exclusion, as stress can cause individuals to rely on heuristics rather than deliberate decision making processes.
