Poll reveals millions of Americans unable to access unemployment benefits
An online poll conducted by the Economic Policy Institute determined that three or four out of every ten people who file an unemployment claim are not able to successfully register. Official statistics currently show that approximately 26.5 million people have filed for unemployment since the middle of March. The survey conducted by the EPI estimates that an additional nine to fourteen million have been unable to register.
