Pinterest has recently been involved in a lawsuit that alleges bias in hiring, promotion, and compensation. Furthermore, in the midst of the lawsuit Pinterest has named a new Chief of Diversity & Inclusion, Tyi McCray. McCray, who has leadership experience in both the private and academia sectors, will lead Pinterest's strategy and programming to create an inclusive and diverse culture.
