Holiday hiring events for malls used to be a major ordeals. As retailers needed additional workers to handle the store-front for holiday sales, such as Black Friday. However, this holiday season the trend is changing. Many retailers are hiring more warehouse workers rather than retail workers to adjust for the fact that most holiday shopping will be conducted online this season.
