Allegations of Unsafe Working Environment at Tyson Meat Plants
Oscar Fernandez has brought a wrongful death suit against Tyson Foods on behalf of his father Isidro Fernandez, who died in April due to complications from Covid-19. The suit alleges that Tyson did not take sufficient measures to protect workers, and that the company encouraged workers to come in while they were sick. Recently, the suit was amended to include troubling allegations about the behaviors of managers within the Waterloo facility.
