Undergoing what the US Chamber of Commerce have called a “national economic emergency” has caused the hospitality industry to get creative with their employee incentives. With workers not returning or being poached by other hotels, the offerings are ranging from fitness machines, free accommodation and board, and cash bonuses. Some hotels are seeing this labor shortage in tandem with stalled visas for returning international employees.
