As Wall Street banks make a return to the office, local businesses sigh in relief
Over the past few months, major Wall Street banks like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs have announced and executed a return to the office. The global head of Deutsche Bank says that this move is out of convenience and cultural necessity. The businesses on Wall Street have suffered great profit losses during the pandemic with the absence of workers buying in the area. As workers filter back to Wall Street, falafel-maker David Shadaha says, “It feels like life is coming back.”
