Among the many companies struggling to hire workers, Denny’s has arranged a cross-country recruiting tour to build confidence in workers to go back to work. Although Denny’s starting wage is higher than it was pre-pandemic, Denny’s CEO says that wages are not the barrier to hiring but a lack of confidence in workers. The recruitment tour will offer application assistance and free breakfast to applicants in hopes of hiring 20,000 employees for its corporate and franchised restaurants.
