The tech industry is embracing remote work and relocation options
As the pandemic has caused workers to reevaluate their permanent work locations, tech companies are looking to take advantage of the shift by relocating workers to new areas of the country and enticing diverse talent. Areas of the country not usually bustling with tech workers, places like Alabama and Arkansas, are using their low-cost areas and relocation assistance to reel in workers from Silicon Valley’s tech hub. Although, Silicon Valley’s dominance on tech is not threatened. This move will allow for Silicon Valley companies to diversify their workforce and work harder to keep talent.
