Morgan Stanley’s CEO makes their return to office stance clear
Morgan Stanley’s CEO, James Gorman, has made it clear that the company will be going back to pre-COVID operations and will not continue any remote options. He told staff “If you can go into a restaurant in New York City, you can come into the office.” The company has told staff they must return to the office by Labor Day, and be vaccinated, or they could face a pay cut. Gorman says there will be short-term flexible options offered on a case-by-case basis.
