Cigna call center workers report poor working conditions
Cigna call center workers are reporting a myriad of working conditions that they claim have led to extreme burnout and fears of being fired. Employees report that they are being constantly harassed to meet performance metrics that they feel aren’t serving the customers or themselves. During the pandemic, paid time off was used when workers experienced technical difficulties while working remotely and the company imposed a pay raise freeze. Months ago, workers started an online petition demanding improved working conditions, but no action has been taken other than HR holding focus groups.
