Ford is experiencing large worker absenteeism in their factories. The company is not mandating vaccines, but they do require their workers to wear a mask in the factory. Ford’s CEO said that the company's absentee rates have been exceeding 20%. He believes a large majority of this to be attributed to the fact that the workers do not want to wear masks. The company has been filling the vacant spots with temporary workers.
