Generous tuition assistance programs are making a rise
Tuition assistance is at the forefront of some companies minds as an incentive to attract and keep their workers. Companies like Home Depot, UPS, Chipotle, Starbucks, and Amazon have programs to help their employees pay for higher education. Chipotle's chief financial officer said that employees who take advantage of their tuition assistance program are 3.5 times more likely to stay with the company and 7 times more likely to move up in management. Experts say that tuition assistance programs are cost effective to the employer and are likely to increase employee loyalty.
