Google faces a SEC complaint
A Google employee has filed a complaint with the Securities and Exchange Commission over the company’s pay disparity between temporary workers and full-time workers doing similar work over the last few years. This employee is being represented by lawyers from Whistleblower Aid and is claiming that Google misled their investors in the U.S. by not reporting legal and financial liabilities they were facing abroad. Internal documents suggests that Google Managers discovered the problem and did not address it immediately, breaking local laws in the UK,Europe, and Asia. Google could be looking at owing more than $100 million in over 16 countries for the last nine years.
