Workers are worried about their company’s postponed return to office plans
As many companies are postponing their return-to-office plans, the anxiety of employees is skyrocketing. As of late August, a Gartner Survey revealed that 66% of organizations are delaying their office reopening. Big companies like Apple, Amazon, and Starbucks have all postponed their return plans. Experts have advised company leaders to be transparent with their decision timelines and give workers as much notice as possible, but many are not following this guidance with their delayed plans. Workers, like Doug Underwood, are having serious anxiety about returning to work and the lack of notice his company has given, even when postponing, and worries about what the future holds.
