Amazon sued over COVID-19 screening pay
On Tuesday, a former Amazon employee filed a proposed class action in Colorado federal court. The proposition claims that Amazon is violating state law by not paying warehouse workers for time spent undergoing COVID-19 screenings before clocking in for work, a process that generally took 20-60 minutes to complete. The class involved more than 10,000 workers at five Colorado warehouses.
