Tyson remains the only major meatpacking company to require vaccinations and they boast amazing vaccination numbers resulting from their mandate. The company issued the mandate that all workers must be vaccinated by November 1st and agreed to give 20 hours of paid sick leave to all employees in exchange, an agreement praised by the UFCW. Tyson says that over 96% of its workers are vaccinated and that they have seen a significant decline in the number of virus cases in its workforce.
