The four-day workweek is gaining traction
As employers are trying to figure out how to combat the “great resignation” and the high demand for flexible work, the four-day workweek is becoming a trend. U.S. company MxD implemented a pilot program in September where employees could opt for a standard five-day workweek with eight-hour days or a four-day workweek with 10-hour days. This is becoming an ever more popular trend in tech startups and small businesses as they’re the quickest to experiment. MxD's CEO said that “skeptical bosses will find that productivity isn't a problem, and that they'll need to adapt as recruiting and keeping people gets harder.”
