Retailers need employees for the holidays
Retailers are looking to staff up ahead of the holidays as experts project all-time highs for holiday spending. Although, with the labor shortage companies are worried about staying open to meet the demand but also keeping their shelves stocked amid disruptions in their supply chains. Under Armour is entering the holiday season with more teammates than they've had in years past and they're attributing their success to their new incentive program for all retail employees. All their employees whether they are part time, full time, or even seasonal will receive monthly bonuses that can be 8% or more of their take-home pay. Their starting hourly wage is $15, up from $10 this summer.
