Amazon settles with California’s attorney general
Amazon has reached a settlement with California’s attorney general after being accused of concealing COVID-19 case numbers from warehouse workers and local health agencies. Under the settlement, Amazon will notify employees of new COVID-19 cases within one day, provide exact case numbers in the warehouse, notify local health agencies within 48 hours of new cases, and pay $500,000 toward addition enforcement of California’s consumer protection laws.
