Workers want a four-day workweek
Workers are quitting in record numbers with 4.3 million quitting in August and another 4.4 million in September. A recent survey conducted by the financial firm Jefferies offers support for the four-day workweek. The survey asked Americans aged 22 to 35 who had recently quit their jobs what could have been done to dissuade them from quitting. 80% of respondents supported a four-day workweek and only 3% said they were against a shorter week. The survey found that 32% of respondents would have stayed if they were offered a four-day workweek which was the second most common answer.
