New York Times employees protest
Over 100 New York Times workers and their supporters protested on Tuesday outside of The Times Manhattan headquarters. This protest accused The New York Times of delaying contract talks. The protest was attended by members of the Times Guild, the Wirecutter Union, and The Times Tech Guild. A spokesperson for The Times Guild said but he has seen The Times do the right thing but now everywhere he looks management is fighting union members. A New York Times spokeswoman said that they are actively working with the unions to put in place collective bargaining agreements and that they would respect the NLRB's process for recognizing The Times Tech Guild.
