Google has been ordered to turn over documents containing information on its anti-union strategy. The NLRB first filed a complaint against the company in December 2020 and recently added three fired workers to claim. The NLRB is accusing Google of spying on employees, blocking conversations about working conditions, and firing workers in retaliation for attempts to unionize and workplace activism. Google was subpoenaed to hand over their records pertaining to their anti-union campaigned named “Project Vivian.” After Google’s claim that the relevant documents were protected by attorney-client privilege was found to be disingenuous, the company has now been ordered to produce the documents immediately.
